With WalletConnect, you can link your Aurea wallet to hundreds of dApps in just a few steps — no browser extensions, no extra apps, no complications.

Here’s how to do it — quickly and securely.

🔐 What Is WalletConnect?

WalletConnect is a secure protocol that creates a bridge between your Aurea wallet and any dApp that supports it.

Instead of entering wallet info manually or installing extra tools, WalletConnect lets you:

  • Use dApps seamlessly

  • Maintain full control of your assets

  • Keep your private keys safe inside the Aurea app

It’s fast, trusted, and supported by most of the Web3 ecosystem.

🚀 Step-by-Step: Connect to a dApp

Let’s walk through the connection process from start to finish.

1. Open the Aurea App and Go to Web3

Log in and tap the Web3 icon at the bottom right of the main navigation bar. This opens the Aurea Web3 hub.

2. Choose the dApp

Scroll through the list or browse by category. Pick the dApp you want to use — such as Uniswap, Folks Finance, or any other compatible service.

3. Tap “Connect” Inside the dApp

Most dApps will show a ConnectWallet button on the homepage or in the top-right corner. Tap it.

4. Select WalletConnect

From the list of available wallets, choose WalletConnect. You’ll now see a QR code and sometimes a “Copy Link” button.

5. Copy the WalletConnect Link

  • Tap the QR code icon (if not already visible)

  • Then tap “Copy Link” — this will copy the secure WalletConnect session URL to your clipboard

6. Return to Aurea

  • In the Web3 section, tap on Connections at the top

  • Paste the WalletConnect link

  • Tap Connect

✅ That’s it!

You’ll get a confirmation prompt — approve it, and your Aurea wallet will be securely connected to the dApp.

🧠 Tip

You only need to go through this process once per session.
The next time you open the same dApp, reconnection will be much faster and smoother.
