Identity Verification: How It Works and Why It Matters

Verifying your identity is a key step to protect your account and unlock all services integrated within the Aurea platform. The process is simple, fast, and securely handled by our trusted verification partners.

🔍 What is identity verification?

Identity verification confirms who you are, helping prevent fraud and unauthorized access.
This process is required to activate the full Aurea experience and is carried out exclusively by certified partners — Wirex and Transak, via Sumsub — in line with international KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) standards.

⚙️ How does the process work?

  1. Download the Aurea app
Available on the App Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android)

  2. Sign up
Register with your email, Google, or Apple ID

  3. Start verification
Tap “Verify Account”, accept the Privacy Policy and follow the guided process

  4. Enter your personal details
Full name, date of birth, and nationality — exactly as shown on your ID

  5. Upload a valid document
Choose a passport, national ID card, or driver’s license — clear, undamaged, and readable

  6. Complete the liveness check
Take a quick verification selfie to confirm your physical presence — powered by Web3Auth technology

Most verifications are completed in just a few minutes.
