  • Transak follows strict data protection regulations (including GDPR and other applicable laws).

  • Your personal information will be deleted or anonymized once legally permitted.

  • However, some data must be retained for regulatory and compliance reasons (such as anti-money laundering (AML) and financial regulations).

Typical retention periods:

  • Transaction records and identity verification documents must be stored for a legally mandated number of years — even after account deletion.

  • After the retention period ends, all data will be permanently deleted or fully anonymized.

  • Aurea Hub does not store or manage your personal data — only Transak does.
