How to Change the Legal Name on Your Aurea Account

If you’ve changed your legal name — due to marriage, divorce, or a court ruling — and need to update it on your Aurea account, the process is simple and secure.
To ensure your information remains accurate and protected, name changes are verified through our trusted partners.

📨 Step 1: Contact Customer Support

Send an email to help.aureahub@gmail.com with the subject “Legal Name Change Request”.
Include a brief message explaining your request and attach a clear copy or photo of your official name change document.

🔐 Step 2: Identity and Document Verification

Our support team — in collaboration with our verification partner Sumsub (via Wirex) — will review the documentation.
You may be asked to confirm your identity by providing:

  • A selfie with your ID and the date

  • A government-issued document showing your new legal name

This step helps ensure the request is legitimate and protects your account from unauthorized changes.

⏳ Step 3: Wait for Confirmation

Name change reviews may take a few business days.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once the update has been completed and verified.

✅ Step 4: Final Verification

After confirmation, you might be asked to upload a new government-issued ID showing your updated name to complete the verification process.
Please refer to our guide “How to Verify Your Identity” for more details.

If you have any questions during the process or notice unusual activity on your account, don’t hesitate to contact us at help.aureahub@gmail.com.

Your security is always our priority.
